We are looking forward to your visit to the historic Hotel Matador Bed & Breakfast and have a few tips to make your visit more enjoyable. Our name may imply hotel, but we are strictly a Bed & Breakfast. When you check into the Hotel Matador Bed & Breakfast, it is important to remember that other travelers will be staying in their own suites and the innkeepers live on-site.
While we hope you make yourself at home and enjoy the common areas, we also ask that you treat these areas with respect. This means being mindful of noise levels, personal space, and manners. We have designated quiet time. At Hotel Matador our quiet hours are from 10 PM to 7 AM to ensure that our diverse clientele is not disturbed when trying to sleep or wind down for the night. Check-in is between 3-5 PM.
There is no need to inform anyone when you are coming or going. Before arrival, you will be given a code to access the front door and a key to your room will be provided upon arrival.
Our rooms are based on double occupancy. For safety reasons we need to know if you are expecting visitors, so please make special requests for visitors in advance. We have one room that allows for additional guests. Additional guests are charged at $20.00 per person.
The facility is sensitive to noise; like a lot of old things, so only well-behaved children that are supervised are welcome. Infants are not a quiet fit for this old house. Children over the age of 12 are welcome and an additional fee of $20.00 per child applies.
We are a strictly non-smoking establishment which includes no vaping. Smokers must leave the property to partake in all nicotine products.
We take time to prepare a freshly cooked and plated breakfast every day at Hotel Matador Bed & Breakfast. Please let us know in advance if you will not be joining us for breakfast. If you have special dietary needs, advise us prior to your visit so we can do our best to provide a great meal for you.
Breakfast is served at 830 AM and always includes a treat from our in-house European Specialty Bakery. Additional desserts can be provided upon request and will be charged to your room bill. Eating is not allowed in the guest rooms.

*Special event weekends require a 2- or 3-night minimum stay*
