Jenny's Guest Room
The ambiance of this white on white room is paralleled by
the quiet efficiency of our mother who was called Jenny by
her father and brothers as a child. The quarters exude peace
with its clear, calm minimalist hue. All that is required
for the perfect evening is some soft music and a romantic
novel.

School Day's Guest Room
Remember the desk with the slot for pencils or an inkwell?
Did you learn to read with Dick and Jane? Then this room
will capture the fond memories of your youth as you unwind
at the end of the day. We have all been educators in our
careers, and we honor the dedicated people in that
profession with this room.

Olive's Iris Room
The common man’s orchid, the hardy iris is shockingly
delicate with an intricate beauty endless in variety. Our
paternal grandmother, Olive Moore Russell, found solace and
fulfillment as she loved and tended her vast garden of
hybrid iris. Each was unique with its name proudly
displayed, and its story faithfully recalled. Our wish is
that each guest of this room will be likewise.

Cotton Belt Special
|
|
The Cotton Belt Railroad is
featured in this room, designed to honor Bill and
Aileen Mantooth, our aunt and uncle. The navy and
cream ticking bedding is reminiscent of the
“railroad stripe” worn daily by many railroad men,
like our Uncle Bill. The sound of a not-so-distant
train will lull you to sleep as it faithfully
traverses the room’s parameter.

Texas Lawmen Room
As children we learned at the knees of men dedicated to the
law, whether as the sheriff of the community, agent of the
Cattle Raiser’s Association, or a contractor with the Texas
Rangers. The pride we hold for those men is revered in this
western themed room.

Circle Cross Heritage Suite
The Circle Cross, O+, is the brand of our parents,
grandparents, and great grandparents. We honor all of them
with this suite that highlights a full mirrored wall left
from its days as a barber shop. With the original tin
ceilings, and massive bonnet bed, it offers a retreat from
the mundane. Featuring a champagne tub and a walk-in
three-head shower in the location where cowboys of old paid
25 cents for a Saturday night bath, this suite transforms a
special occasion into a relaxing adventure.
